Meet the Founder
Steve Collis, the founder of City Sound and Lighting, is a multi-disciplined production specialist with over a decade of experience in the industry both across the UK and beyond. Steve’s experience and approach to production ensures projects are managed efficiently across the board. He also has a real gift for understanding a client's needs, but not only that, anticipating them.
His career spans theatre, contemporary dance, live music, festivals, high-end private parties, corporate conferences, brand-launches and million-pound weddings; this showcases his versatility and expertise. Steve’s commitment to making production not only excellent but also accessible to all, is shown in the care and attention he gives to those who work for him but equally to those who work alongside him.
Steve's approach and deep understanding of various entertainment forms has solidified his reputation in the field. Continuing to contribute to every project, his commitment to excellence and creative vision continue to drive City Sound and Lighting as it grows. He also has a real passion for releasing and raising up those who are just starting out in the industry, which means that he inputs significant time into others as they work alongside him.
