We provide equipment for sound, lighting, staging, AudioVisuals and EVERYTHING in between. Alongside this we’ve surrounded ourselves with highly skilled and experienced technicians, engineers, riggers, designers and production managers. We work closely alongside an array of the most renowned production companies in the UK and abroad; our relationships with these companies ensures that we continue to provide the best prices for our clients across the board. Most of the inter company relationships have been built over the years of service our founder Steve has put into his freelance career. These relationships have become strong and reliable and City Sound and Lighting is grateful for its production patterns across the industry.
Our aim is to make production problems into realistic solutions both in terms of communicating what is actually needed to solve our clients problems (no matter how tricky) AS WELL AS real time, on the ground problem solving by our excellent production managers, engineers and technicians to ensure that all our events run smoothly from load in to load out.

Steve was a delight to work with: hugely knowledgeable and very patient with clients less familiar with the most modern sound technology. Nothing was too much trouble, and the finished PA system (for a large church) was technically impressive - meeting not only our (and the Stour Music Festival's) requirements for sound, but also those of the Diocese for aesthetics in a Grade 1-listed, 800 year old building.
